My first Christmas Daddy trying to get the helicoptor that Mommy got for him to fly Jojo jie jie tried to control Girlgirl who is excited to be out for a walk I think this is the best way to handle naughty Girlgirl Daddy, it is getting boring, when can you get the helicoptor up?? ZZzzzzz
Problem 1 : Javier is not very interested in milk recently. He would move his head from left to right and smile when we feed him. We have to wait for him to feel sleepy so that he will not reject milk and pop the bottle into his mouth.
Problem 2 : Work is so busy that sometimes I do not have time to pump milk. Initially, I'm thinking of providing Javier supply till 6 months although he is already on half formula milk already. Now that my supply is even lower than previous, might need to stop earlier.
Problem 3 : My hair is dropping like mad. I might be bald soon :( I left hairs everywhere I am. help.... IYou see, most women are afraid that pregnancy will make them fat. This is not really a concern to me as I'm fat in the first place. I think Hair drop is the number 1 killer. Hope this hormone thing will end soon.
Problem 4 : Jason has been working late and later and latest. So late that everytime he comes home, Javier is asleep already. I know he has tons of work but I hope that he could have some quality family life too. I think it is the whole working environment and style that matters here. Imagine getting sms from colleague 11 pm plus on the next day work issue. Sometimes, I wonder if his team operates like an owl, only work when the moon is out. Lastly, I told him that Javier might not recognize him as Daddy and might think he is some Uncle who occasionally drop by our place. Does that sound threatening? It is meant to be a joke though.
Just brought Javier to take his injection on his 3rd month. He is now 6.2 kg and 66 cm tall. The doctor said that there's some sound when he checked Javier's hip and suggested that we take a ultrasound scan to see if there's any bone issue or dislocation. Being Kiasu parents, we went for the scan. It is a long wait as the doctor is attending to emergency case. Javier started getting a bit noisy and the nurses loves to play with him. One of them wants to bring him home! After the scan, the doctor said that it looks quite alright, should not have any issue. Finally , we can relax. We were shocked when we were at the cashier. It cost $350!!! frankly speaking, a bit heart pain as need to spend so much but at least now we know that this bone thingy is not affecting his growth.
While waiting, Jason tried to take a short video clip and we found out Javier is not camera shy. In fact he can follow the camera!
Javier is going to outgrow his 0-3 months clothes! We are so surprised! Last month, these clothes are too big for him and this month it is very fitting. Some are even tight fitting. One good example is the sleepsuit below which i got from mothercare.
Friends has been telling me when I'm pregnant that once the baby is born, the husband will spend more time with me and the baby. This is not true!! (Jason : "I OBJECT") Jason still play computer games like normal. (Jason : "That is my hobby!") After me making a lot of noise and talking to him on having some quality family life, he made a "touching" move. (Jason : "My son going to be like me loh!") He brought Javier into the computer room to prove that Javier likes PC games too. (Jason : "True enough, he like the sound of computer game!")
Javier has outgrown the "Newborn" size (Diaper), can see his "Pi Gu" when wearing it. Prove that he is growing. Managed to get him the " Small" size and he is now more comfortable. He could not fit into some newborn clothes already and some of the "0-3 months" seems fitting. Time to do some shopping again :)
Little Javier is very fussy and in hot temper these few days. He sleep light and woke up once we put him in bed. He will cry when he wants to sleep and will also cry when he is hungry. the problem is he wants to sleep and eat at the same time! We will warm the milk and the next moment, he falls asleep. Help.... No idea what he wants...
There is a saying “Try to look at things and matters at a different angles or perspectives”. I totally agree to this.
One fine sunny day, I put Javier lying down on my body. From this angle, suddenly felt that nothing is more beautiful than this view… (Jasmine *with an angry stare* : “ME LEH!!!!”). Ok Ok… I rephrase my sentence… “Other than Jasmine, this view is the next beautiful scene”.
I think he loves to sleep in this position, maybe due to my big tummy… or I dun know….
We brought little Javier for his vaccines yesterday. 3 in total, 1 oral, 2 jabs. The doc gave him the oral one first, a bit of screaming from Javier. Maybe the medicine taste awful. Next come the interesting part, the jabs.. Without much delay, doc injected 1 jab on each of his thighs. Yes, 1 right , 1 left. The very next moment, little Javier cried and his whole face turn red ( like a ripe tomato) Initally, we thought of taking photos of this memorable moment. But now our hearts instantly felt the pain and trying to calm him down is our top priority. Luckily the cries lasted only a few minutes. Our Javier is a brave boy!
After one month of confinement, Jasmine aka The Mummy took “leave” to go for a gathering with her colleagues. I aka The Daddy, cover the post together with her mom to look after little Javier. Other than Breast Feeding him, I think I still can manage with it. ;p
Today is little Javier’s first official outing. Where to? – Takashimaya No special reason why chose this place, only because we hope to grab some discounted stuffs over at the Taka Baby Fair. In the end, we bought nothing fantastic over there but still a very good trip for us. Javier seems to enjoy shopping… like the mother! LOL!
For the past few days, little Javier was encountering with some problems with his breathing especially during the night. He will cry in the middle of the night and was trying to catch his breath. We suspect that there might be something blocking his nose and it is verified after close examination, there is a nose shit in both his nostrils. We bought a baby tweezers and a nose sucker… then armed with these weapons…. Our operation start! Jasmine in charge of extracting the nose shit while I use the nose sucker to suck out the nose shit nearer to the opening for easy extraction… after a few rounds trial runs…. Operation success! It is indeed a big one... inside both of his nostril, each close to 1 cm in length.
